Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how River & Basket ("the site") handles information. The site is a static informational reference and is designed to collect as little as possible.
Information the site stores
The site does not run a database and does not maintain user accounts. The only information stored on your device is a single browser local-storage entry that records your response to the cookie notice, so the notice is not shown repeatedly. This entry stays on your device and is not transmitted to the site.
The contact form
The contact form is a front-end demonstration only. When you submit it, the form is validated and cleared in your browser; the information you type is not sent to a server and is not stored or transmitted by the site. Please do not rely on the form to deliver a message and do not enter sensitive personal information.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It uses one essential local-storage value (your cookie-notice choice). You can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
External links
Pages may link to external organisations such as the Royal Botanical Gardens or Health Canada. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. Review their policies when you visit.
Third-party resources
Some images are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons and web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, the relevant providers may receive standard request information such as your IP address, as happens with any externally hosted resource.
Children's privacy
The site is general-interest informational content and is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised date at the top of the page will be updated. Continued use of the site reflects the policy in effect at the time of your visit.
